We are in august, and I write this tutorial.

I remember, whenever I was doing an animated gif, and needed to count, I asked you ! instantaneous answer always exact ... I remember you saying it's funny, it's not good, you should do this or that, you always helped me with figures ....

Look all the movements :
the car, only the colors are changing on the wheels, and a slight shift.
The cat moves its head.
and the background scrolls from right to left.

1 . The background

The width is 200px, and you need to draw with certain "symetry" on the right and the left part. A big difference does not give a nice final result

The drawing above can help you for the sky, choose your gradient and only draw some dashed lines.
Add a ground, on a new layer!

Always add elements on new layers, you can move them so easily, and never forget to save *.pspimage.

The tree

The fence

The fence is better placed on the same line/height!
Save! Then merge, copy and paste as a new image.
Again copy and paste as a new image, now the image is exactly 200x120
And now to avoid problems in Animation Shop you choose canvas size 200x175, with the graphic on top with empty space at the bottom!

2 . The scrolling

only use:
deplacement image
It's a repetitive work, but fast, the image is 200px width, the scroll and wrap is 5px, so you have to do 200:5=40 layers!
layer 1 → duplicate → H-offset → duplicate → H-offset, 40 times!
Without thinking, but without mistakes, you stop when the picture comes on the first position and the last one is to be erased!
Save as psp for AS. "animation_fond.psp"
Open the file in Animation shop, check for 40 layers, only 40, and save as a gif.

* I used to work with pspX, Nelly said me that you cannot do this job with psp7, so for psp4all' members who used psp7, please ask me, send your image and I would be pleased to do it for you.

3 . The car

It's easier to draw this car on several layers , open the file "toto.pspimage" you find in the supplies.

↔ You will find here the file for psp version 7, but all the elements are on only one layer.

Color each layer
coloriage carrosserie

4 layers for the "wheels"
coloriage des roues
and " the bumper "
coloriage du parechoc
Save!

Now you can make the animation, click the visibility toggle button to hide the layers of wheels 2 3 and 4.
Copy merge and paste as a new image and save as "animation_toto.psp(for animation shop)".
Go back on "toto.pspimage", hide wheels 1 3 and 4 and display the layer with wheels 2, copy merge and paste as a new layer on "animation_toto" .... etc

You have 4 layers for "animation_toto", put them exactly one over the other.
choose a canvas size, the car must be on the bottom and you need space for its driver!
I choose 90x130 as you see below and the aim is to make it move like this, be patient...

4 . The cat

Shade the cat with your own colors.

Save.

5 . The cat in its car

On your file "animation_toto" add the two layers of the cat
like this.

click the visibility toggle button to hide the one of the cat layers, and 3 for the top car layers.
copy merge → paste as a new image and save as "chatdanstoto.psp"
Open the car layers from bottom to top and hide the layer of the car to add the cat with face head, you must do 4 layers each time copy merged and past as a new layer in "chatdanstoto.psp"

Do the same with the side view of the cat.
With the zoom tool arrange the layers like so.

Crop carefully and save. You can now open it in AS.

6 . Copy and paste in Animation shop

In Animation shop you open the file with the car and cat "chatdanstoto.psp" and with the background "animation_fond.psp".
8 layers for one, 40 in the other, and oupssss 40=5x8!

If,when you do an anim your count of layers are more bizarre think the "least common multiple, LCM "

For the car and cat duplicate the layers, but in groups of 4 layers!
I choose : 4 face - 16 side - 8 face - 12 side.

And now be very careful with your mouse:

Choose this tool copie5 and activate the first image of the car.
Edit → Select all
Edit → Copy
Edit → copie5
On the background anim, activate the first image
Edit → Select all
Edit → paste in the selected image.
That's all

It's very easy to past an anim in another, as you can see, I added a dashed line ... and you can add text only paste a layer with the text ...
Just handle your mouse and count
